AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Serving as Sigma Alpha’s Chapter President has been one of the most meaningful and fulfilling experiences of my college career. This role has allowed me to build personal connections with each sister, fostering bonds that extend beyond sisterhood. AOII is filled with incredible women who bring so much joy, laughter, and love into each other’s lives. Whether it’s celebrating each other’s successes, sharing spontaneous adventures, or simply being there through life’s ups and downs, the memories we create together are what make this sisterhood so special. AOII is built on Inspiring Ambition; empowering each sister to reach her fullest potential and support those around her in doing the same. Our four core values – character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty – guide us as we grow together as individuals and as a chapter. AOII fosters a culture of leadership, encouragement, and lifelong connection, creating an environment where ambition is celebrated, dreams are pursued, and each member is inspired to make a lasting impact in their community and beyond!
